Next Camp: July 13-17, 2020

Location: Trinity Christian College

Overnight Stay Required: Yes

Description: Mentors have the responsibility of leading a group of no more than (4) students at our overnight camps and serve as their designated point person. Additionally, the intention of having mentors at these camps is to give young adults the opportunity to invest in the younger generation and help these students feel encouraged, valued, and supported during their program experience. This volunteer opportunity is highly encouraged for college students pursuing a career in the mental health field.


  • 21-28 Years Old

  • Certified Mandated Reporter in Illinois (Get certified here).

  • Mentor (in person or online) assigned students for at least 6 months after the camp.

  • Passionate about youth development and mental health advocacy.

  • Must have (or be working towards) an undergraduate degree in social work or psychology.

Things to Know: All prospective candidates will undergo a background check and video interview. If selected, you will be required to attend a Mentor Training Workshop on July 12 at 12:00 PM.
