These peer groups take place in-person and online through "Zoom" every week. A detailed email with information about each week's meetup is sent to the parent/guardian of the enrolled student every Monday morning.
Peer Group Overview
ForeverU offers in-person and online peer groups to 7-12 grade students that provides them with access to weekly mentorship, personal development programming, and a supportive peer community. All students need to participate in the program are the weekly worksheets that they can be downloaded right from our website.
Our peer groups are facilitated by ForeverU Mentors who are screened and undergo extensive volunteer training in partnership with Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital. We have also made it a requirement for all mentors to have (or be working toward) a degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.
Who Should Participate?
ForeverU peer groups are highly encouraged for 7-12 grade students who are experiencing an emotional or situational form of adversity.
If you are unsure if you or your child would benefit from participating in these camps, please reach out to us by completing the contact form found on our website.
To get the most out of this program experience, students should be open to personal growth, positive change, and have the willingness to take responsibility for their own learning.
ForeverU is classified as a youth development organization. Please know that our volunteers, employees, and representatives are not medical professionals.
